The eCommerce newsletter, emarketer, predicts a DECLINE in eCommerce sales in 2021 because brick-and-mortar stores will rebound with easement COVID restrictions affecting in-person shopping.

The article states, “Worldwide, ecommerce growth will decelerate substantially this year, despite consumers’ newfound enthusiasm for digital shopping solutions. We forecast that worldwide ecommerce growth will downshift to 14.3% in 2021.”

We also feel there’s a pentup demand for in-store shopping. Consumers are restless and eager to get out of the house. Retailers are ready for foot traffic.
